The best car lease deals for May 2011, represent the worst selection of lease offers since we began posting them. I apologize for the delay. Mazda’s April Car Lease offers are running through May 9th. Rather than wait, I’ll post the Mazda lease offers next week in a special segment. None of May’s best car lease deals have an LVR in the excellent range, which is 1.10% or under. There are still some good car leasing offers: The Honda Accord LX is still only $260.00 a month with no downpayment and an average payment of just $253.00 per month for 35 months. The Toyota Camry, Nissan Maxima, Honda Pilot and Hyundai Elantra are rated as good, but not excellent leases. Don’t let this keep you from leasing a car this month. Remember, that the best car lease deals are the ones that make the most sense for your situation. Always ask your dealer for a better deal than the monthly car lease offer posted here or on the manufacturer website.

Exceptions to the Best Car Lease Deals for May
There are some notable weaknesses with this month’s car lease offers. For instance, as of today, May 7th, Toyota only has one listed lease offer: The Toyota Camry. There are sure to be more lease offers from Camry in the next couple of days and I will publish them along with Mazda and any other new car lease deals that arrive in the next couple of days. It is promising to see Kia and Hyundai continue to offer fair – to – good car lease deals: The Kia Soul is an intriguing and practical, little fun sports utility vehicle that can be yours for an average car payment of just $211.00 per month. And, the Hyundai Elantra, which gets outstanding gas mileage, 29MPG in the city and 40MPG on the highway and can be leased for an average payment of also just $211.00 per month. Could it be that the high gas prices have stalled some of the best car lease deals as manufacturers are scrambling to make up for dwindling inventory of fuel efficient cars? The Ford Focus is one of the few car lease deals being offered for a 2012 model; but it’s not a great one: $269.00 per month average car payment and an LVR (Lease Value Ratio) of just 1.47%. If fuel prices continue to hover around $3.50-$4.00 per gallon, we might expect to see better incentives coming are way on mid-sized cars. Let’s see what happens next month. Remember to always ask your deal for his absolute Best Car Lease Deals.
