Exploring the Range Rover Lease vs Purchase
Why have Range Rover Lease deals been conspicuously absent from our monthly car lease ratings? Well, for lack of a better word, they haven't been very good. There is one possible explanation as to why a Range Rover does not lease well, but before we get to that, let's see what Land Rover has to offer in the way of leasing for the month of December

I can't believe it's already time to tabulate the best lease deals of 2011 for our annual Monthly Car Lease feature. What a change in the lease ratings for this year. The best lease deals of 2010 were only slightly similar with a few late-comers stealing some of the attention from Honda and Toyota. For 2010, Toyota had some breath-taking lease deals that blew us away. For example, the May 2010, Toyota Corolla LE leased for just $129.00 a month and $899.00 down. The .82 LVR is the lowest Lease Value Ratio ever recorded since the inception of Monthly Car Lease ratings over 2 years ago. It was just over a year ago that American cars started leasing again and it didn't take General Motors long to start winning some of the best lease deals of 2011 with the Chevrolet Traverse, Volt and Cadillac. We also saw Infiniti rise to the top with some great Lease Offers on the G37 and G25. Despite Toyota slippoing in the 2011 Lease Ratings, the Toyota RAV4 Lease remained strong. We saw some improved SUV Lease specials and some excellent, no-money-down lease specials from Honda. For the first time ever, one of those new-fangled cross-over vehicles topped the monthly lease offers: The Honda Cross Tour EX V6 in June.

These exciting Cadillac lease specials didn't make the December Car Lease feature, but not for lack of quality. These four, compelling lease offers from Cadillac are all rated as very good. Each of these featured Cadillacs can be leased with no money due at lease signing. At the top of the list is the popular Cadillac CTS Sedan which leases for just $399.00 a month for 36 months. With no money down, the actual payment of $399.00 per month equals the average payment giving you a very low lease value ratio (LVR)of 1.05% ($399/$38,1650) The Lease Value ratio is your average monthly payment divided by the MSRP of the car. The lower the better. For a full explain, visit the link, here: Lease Value Ratio Explained. Right behind the Sedan is the CTS Coupe for $20.00 more. If you're in need of a luxury SUV, you will not be disappointed. Both the Escalade and SRX Crossover have very attractive, lease offers for SUVs and are as good or better than most of the competition from BMW, Mercedes, Audi and others. These are great incentives for anyone who loves the luxury and sportiness of these Cadillacs. Unfortunately, there are only four to choose from.

Best SUV Lease Deal Ever?
Since we started publishing these Monthly Car Lease ratings using our unique LVR (Lease Value Ratio) formula, SUV's have typically not ranked very well except for the Toyota RAV4 which had some incredible lease specials 12-18 months ago. While this month's winner, the Chevy Traverse is only FWD, it offers a lot of SUV for the money. The Traverse carries a $30,240 sticker price but leases for only $299.00 a month with no money down for 39 months. The 39 month lease term is a bit odd, but is certainly no reason to take advantage of this special offer if you're in the market for the utility of an SUV and not too concerned with the lack for AWD. Right there with the Traverse is the Chevy Malibu Lease: Just $229.00 a month and nothing down gets you into a $22,755 car for 39 months. This is all great news for Chevy fans. Just 15 months ago, there was no leasing available from GM at all. Now, we've got the two top lease deals for December, both owned by Chevrolet.
