Best Car Lease
Best Car Lease
Best Car Lease question: Is there a better way to end a year than with the lease of a brand new car? The best car lease is the one you'll never forget. The Toyota RAV4 V6, pictured to the right was leased with no money down, for $280.00 a month. This particular 2011 Toyota RAV4 V6 AWD, with it's added Value Package, has an MSRP of $27,300. If you think that's a great deal, you're absolutely right, but it gets even better. Why is it the best way to lease a car and why is it the best car lease for me? Well, for two reasons:
- The lucky Lessor of the best car lease in this example was me
- The dealer agreed to make the final $247 payment on my leased Subaru Legacy and pay the $300 termination fee.
Best Car Lease:
Is it the one that's cheapest?
I realize that the best car lease for me is not necessarily the best car lease for everyone else, but financially, this was an excellent deal. When you factor in the $547.00 paid back to me over the 36 month term of the lease, my average payment is only $265.00 per month. That is a Lease Value Ratio (LVR) of just .97% ($265.00 / $27,300), making it one of the lowest, if not the lowest LVR ever published on this blog. So, using the Monthly Car Lease ratings guide, this is in fact the best car lease deal I could have possibly made at the end of 2010. This just goes to show you that even manufacturers lease specials are negotiable. But, that is only one of the reasons this was the best car lease deal... Read the rest of this entry

Buick Enclave has 3rd Row Seating
SUVs with 3rd row seating are the rage if you need to transport more than 5 passengers, you'll need to look into Mini-Vans or Suvs with 3rd Row Seating. Not even the Best Mid Size SUV always has that third row for extra passengers. Surprisingly, last week's winner of the Best Small SUV, The Toyota RAV4, has an option for a 3rd row and can hold up to 7 passengers. Before you go out and buy a RAV4 for your 7-Member family, keep in mind that even with the 3rd row seating, you'll be packed in the SUV tighter than a can of slippery sardines. In my quest to find the best lease rates on Top Rated SUVs, the 7-passenger vehicles are too important to leave out. SUVs with 3rd Row Seating deserve their own category. While I only have a family of four, I didn't realize how much I would miss the 7-passenger seating of my Hyundai Veracuz when I turned the lease in two years ago. The 3rd row folded down for extra storage when it was not needed for extra family members or friends. Unlike the RAV4, the Veracruz held 7 passengers very comfortably, even though it does take a bit of planning-ahead to get everyone inside and out. Read the rest of this entry

Best Small SUV Lease Value
What do you have to Pay for the Best Small SUV?
The Small SUV market is filled with versatile FWD and AWD vehicles ranging in price from $22,000 to $27,000. A small, Cheap SUV is easy to come by as long as you consider anything under $27,000, inexpensive. But is it the best small SUV? Or to get the best small suv do you need to jump into the $30K-Plus Luxury Price range? With so many competitive entries in this market place, I thought it would be worthwhile to do a "Cheap SUV" Comparison study. Surprisingly, such a narrow price range of SUVs encompasses a wide range of features, performance and equipment to compare. Small SUVs in this particular price range can be equipped with V6, Turbo or more economical base, 4 Cylinder Engines. Horse-Power in the Base 4-Cyl Models ranges from 161HP to 269HP. All but the Subaru, can be equipped with either FWD or AWD. Gas Mileage ranges from 17/21 to 22/30. You might think that going with a 2WD-VS-4WD would save a great deal of money and provide much greater fuel economy, but in some cases, the advantages are not as great as you would originally believe. In other cases, sacrificing performance does not always provide much better fuel economy either. The goal of this Best Small SUV Comparison is to find the SUV that matches fuel economy, handling and performance for the most affordable price. Nine Different SUV models are compared below: Read the rest of this entry

December Car Lease Specials

Honda Insight
If not for Honda, Nissan and Buick, the Advertised Car Lease Specials for December have left me underwhelmed. Not much has changed from last month from the top contenders and Toyota has slipped. There are still some pretty good car lease deals to be had from Toyota, but most of them are carry-over car lease specials from the Month of November. There is a good reason for the lack of jaw-dropping car lease deals this month. There is still plenty of 2010 inventory left on dealer’s lots to sell. Once the 2010 models are completely sold out, we should start seeing some better lease offers on 2011 cars. The good news is that 0%, No Money Down Car loans are the best they’ve ever been. Better news is that Honda continues to offer excellent deals on 36 month term leases with nothing down and 35 payments. If you’re not happy with the 2011 leases, you might want to look into the 0%, 60 Month Finance Offers for the 2010 Cars. Since the 2010 Models are already a year old, the residual values are taking a hit, resulting in higher lease payments. For Example, the 2010 Toyota Corolla which leases for $169.00 a month and $2100 down payment is up from July when it leased for $700.00 less.
Honda, Nissan and Buick Car Lease Deals
On the other hand, why wait for the new year, when Honda, Nissan and Buick are offering excellent Lease Values this month? The Honda Insight CVT LX rules the roost with a low, $210.00 Monthly Payment and nothing down. You get to keep the Car for 36 months, but only make 35 payments after that. If you're looking to save money on the car and at the gas pump, the Insight gives you a remarkable 40/43 MPG! This is the kind of car leasing deal that makes cash buyers scratch their heads. How much gas money did you give up paying $16,000 cash for that last economy car? Over the 36 month lease term, the Insight will only cost you a total of $7,350.00. That averages out to around $204.00 per month. The Insight has a Lease Value Ratio of .99% which is one of the lowest LVRs ever. Read the rest of this entry
