0-Down Car Lease Offers
People have asked me why I don't do articles on 0-Down Car Lease offers. The reason is simply this: any car can be leased with nothing down. A down payment; otherwise known as a Cap Reduction doesn't change the total cost of your lease, it simply lowers your monthly payment. Your Average Monthly Payment and Total Cost to lease the car remain the same. See our Car Lease Ratings Guide. So, why are some car lease deals for no-money down and others are not? Because monthly car lease specials are simply a marketing game. Car manufacturers are going to structure their monthly offers in a way that looks most attractive to buyers. You can lease any car with nothing down - just ask. Typically, every thousand dollars you put down on a car lease lowers your payment by $20 - $30. So, what looks like the better offer? No-Money down or a lower monthly payment? It is the same game retailers play when they price their goods at $99.99, instead of $100.00.. It's our psychology and what looks or feels best to us at the time. For example, it might make me feel better to put $500 down and make a $295.00 monthly payment, rather than no-money down and a $305.00 payment. In reality, the best thing to do is save my cash to help make those monthly lease payments. This is pretty much the same way I look at income taxes. I'd rather take as much as I can now and get nothing back or even owe a little on April 15th. Some people, feel better knowing they are paying too much, but will be due a refund at the end of the year. Whether you put $500, $1000, $200 or no-money down on your next Car Lease, the important thing is to find the right deal. Check out Monthly Car Lease offers, the Car Lease Ratings Guide and my earlier article on How to Lease a Car. And if you're an iPhone User, by all means buy the Car Lease Calculator iLeaseMyCarPro application.
Just when we thought the LVR (Lease Value Ratio) couldn't get any lower, Toyota has done it again. Check out the incredible Toyota S Corolla Lease for $129.00 a month and $899 down, and the lowest LVR ever at just 82%. By comparison of its nearest competitor, the Honda Civic LX leases for $169.00 a month and $1,799 down. Toyota beats Honda hands-down in all other comparisons: The RAV4 leases for $199.00 a month and $1299 down; the Honda CRV AWD leases for $259.00 a month and $2,299 down. In fact, the Toyota RAV4 spanks every SUV lease there is, by a considerable margin. Speaking again of 0-Down Car Leases, check out the low monthly lease payments on the Mazda 3 4-Door and Mazda 3 5-Doors which ranked a respectable 3rd and 4th in the May Car Lease Rankings below.

Kent,
Sometimes the Car Websites make their offers hard to find. For Toyota, simply go to http://www.toyota.com.
From there, choose the Shopping Tools option at the bottom of the page, and it will ask you for your local zip code. The car offers, including lease and low APR deals will show up for each car you choose. Just walk into your dealer and say, hey: “I want that $129.00 a month lease special on the Corolla” or whatever…Tell them you want the deal with no money down. that’s your starting negotiations point.
