Negotiate a Car Lease

Are you thinking about leasing a car for the first time, but don't know how to lease a car? Don't worry...

One thing to remember when you ask how to lease a car:

Leasing is a negotiable sales transaction; just as is a car purchase. These days, most car leases are closed-end leases. If you are sure that you will drive the car within your agreed upon mileage (usually between 10,000 and 12,000 miles per year), the risks in leasing are no different than buying a car with a loan. And, knowing how to lease a car is no harder than knowing how to buy a car. The goal is simple: Get the car you want at the lowest possibly monthly payment, with little or nothing down. In a nutshell, that's how to lease a car! There are several financial factors that go into calculating a lease payment, but really, there are only three things that you will need to learn in order to know how tolease a car:

Toyota Vs Nissan Lease Comparison

Earlier this month, the monthly specials from Nissan and Toyota didn't become available to me in time for my November Monthly Car Lease Ratings. I promised that I would do an update lease feature later this month. What better way to do it then to have a Car Lease showdown between two of the most popular Japanese Imports? Both Toyota and Nissan have frequently made the top of the list in my monthly lease ratings. Since the Toyota Camry has won two of the last three monthly lease ratings, it's a great time for a showdown between Nissan and Toyota. Read the rest of this entry

As I completed the spreadsheet for the Top-10 Car Leases for November, I thought it would be interesting to do a comparison feature on luxury cars. This particular car lease comparison feature is for cars $40,000 and above. Unfortunately, not all car makers are publicly listing lease offers these days. So, if you are wondering why Lexus and Mercedez Benz are being left out of my car lease ratings comparisons, I am wondering the very same thing. Unfortunately, neither Lexus nor Mercedes are advertising any lease specials this month. I have no doubt I could visit my Stevenson Lexus Dealer in nearby Lakewood, CO and get a lease quote, but for some reason Lexus is not advertising any specials online. Mercedes did have some lease offers recently, so I will assume they will be back online soon.

iLeaseMyCarPro Car Lease Calculator

Here is a Car lease calculator you'll love. As a New Car Leasing Geek with an iPhone, I am always interested in the latest car financing gadgetry. The other day I thought to myself, “Surely, there must be some kind of cool car auto loan application car lease calculators to use on the iPhone." To my delight, I discovered, iLeaseMyCar Pro Car Lease Calculator. Before I spent the reasonable some of $2.99, I decided to read some of the reviewers by end-users of this particular auto lease calculator. I was not surprised to learn that at least half of the users reviewing the product were car salesmen. What a natural fit that iLeaseMyCarPro Car Lease Calculator would be for any car salesman with an iPhone. Because of the complicated calculations that go into leasing, car salesmen are usually not real good at estimating lease payments for potential customers on the fly, though they can tell you how many miles that used car might have. I can’t tell you how many times I was curious about a car, but didn’t want to walk into a sales office and be taken through the ringer just to get a payment estimate on a vehicle. That's no way to lease a car. iLeaseMyCar Pro is an excellent car lease calculator for both salesperson and customer. In fact, it is the best Car Lease Calculator there is for any platform.
